DESCRIPTION
AMPICILLIN a broad spectrum antibiotic effective
against gram +ve and -ve bacteria. It is quickly absorbed
and reaches high plasma concentration within two hours and
excreted in urine and bile unchanged, so it is used in
intestinal and urinary tract infections.
INDICATIONS
AMPICILLIN 20%
is indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections
caused by E.coli, Clostridia, Salmonella, Brucella, Proteus
, Klebsiella and Corynebacteria which affect both large
animals and poultry . It is also used in the treatment of
diarrhea and pulmonary infections in calves and lambs. |
