COMPOSITION

PROPERTIES
Tetramisole (L-isomer of Levamisole) is active
against intestinal nematodes and acts by paralysing
susceptible worms by stimulating the nematode ganglia. They
are quickly absorbed by blood and rapidly excreted by the
faeces and urine |

INDICATIONS
Tetramisole-10 is effective in the treatment of
ascariasis , hook worm infestation, pinworms, strongyloides
and Trichuriasis. Also lung worms in ruminants . It is also
used as immunostimulant. |

DOSAGE |
|
|
Large animals (Cattle, Sheep, Goats) : |
1.5 gm/ 10 Kg B.W, either with drinking water or
mixed with feed. |
|
Poultry : |
0.15 gm/1 kg B.W. with drinking water for 12 hours
only. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Avoid treatment for long periods
- Don't give for Layers.
- Don't give with Gumboro disease. |

Stop treatment 3 days before slaughter |
