Water Soluble Powder
COMPOSITION
Each 1 gm. contains:
Doxycycline (Hydrochloride)   120 mg
Colistin (Sulphate)                      500,000 I.U
PROPERTIES
Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against gram –ve and gram +ve bacteria, some large viruses and Mycoplasma. It is completely absorbed from the GIT. Colistin is poorly absorbed from the GIT and active against gram –ve bacteria.
INDICATIONS
For treatment of infections caused by gram –ve and +ve bacteria i.e. E.coli, Salmonella. It is also advised in cases of intestinal infection.
DOSAGE
Poultry: 100 gm/200 liters of drinking water for 5 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not give to layers or in kidney failure cases.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not use animal products during or after last treatment for 7 days.
