Water Soluble Powder
COMPOSITION
Each 1 gm. contains:
Trimethoprim                    80 mg
Sulphadiazine Sodium    400 mg
PROPERTIES
Joprim has a broad spectrum action and dual efficacy against most gram –ve and gram +ve bacteria due to its content of Trimethoprim and Sulphadiazine Sodium. Joprim is rapidly absorbed and distributed through the body and excreted via the kidneys.
INDICATIONS
Joprim is indicated in bacterial infections caused by gram –ve and gram +ve bacteria specially E. Coli , Haemophilus, Salmonella and Pasteurella in poultry.
DOSAGE
Poultry: 40 gm/200 liters of drinking water for 5 days.
WARNING
Do not use in kidney failure or in Gumboro infection.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: Stop treatment for 5 days before slaughter.
Milk: Stop treatment for 3 days before slaughter.
