COMPOSITION
Each 1 gm. contains:
Neomycin Sulphate   250 mg
PROPERTIES
Neomycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic with bactericidal action against most gram –ve and some gram +ve bacteria. The efficacy of Neomycin is concentrated in the GIT due to its low absorption.
INDICATIONS
Neomycin 25% is indicated in gastrointestinal infections caused by gram –ve bacteria, such as E. Coli, Salmonella, Klebseilla and Proteus cases.
DOSAGE
Poultry: 100 gm/ 200 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Sheep and Goats: 1 gm/ 10 kg body weight for 4-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not use animal products for 5 days after last treatment.
