COMPOSITION
Each 1 gm. contains:
Oxytetracycline HCL      250 mg
PROPERTIES
Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibacterial, active against; Mycoplasma, Chlamydia and Rickettsia as well as wide range of gram +ve and gram –ve bacteria.
INDICATIONS
Oxytetracycline 25% is used in cases of bacterial infections caused by Streptococci, Clostridia, Brucella spp., Haemophilus, Corynebacteria, E.Coli and Mycoplasma.
DOSAGE
Poultry: 100 gm/200 liter of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Sheep and Goats: 1.5 gm/ 20 kg body weight for 3-4 days.
LARGE ANIMALS
WARNING
Do not give to ruminants in large quantities for long period, due to its effect on microflora.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 5 days
Milk: 3 days
