DESCRIPTION
CIPROVET 10% is the trade name for Ciprofloxacin, a
fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent with a wide spectrum of
activity including Enterobacteriaceas, Pseudomonas spp. It
is well tolerated and well absorbed from the GIT with a peak
plasma concentration of 1-2 hours. Its plasma half life is
3-4 hours.
INDICATIONS
CIPROVET 10% is a broad spectrum antibiotic indicated in
bacterial infections caused by gram+ve bacteria as Staph.,
Strep., Corynebacteria, Clostridia and listeria and gram-ve
bacteria such as E.coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella,
Salmonella, Klebsiella, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma spp. |
