PROPERTIES Erythromycin is an antibiotic active by oral
route against gram+ve and some gram-ve bacteria and
mycoplasma.
Erythromycin diffuses very well into tissues.
INDICATIONS
Poultry: Prevention of cases caused by stress, transport and
vaccinations.
Treatment of respiratory diseases and mycoplasmosis, CRD,
coryza, sinusitis and infectious synovitis.
DOSAGE
Poultry:
Prevention :
0.5 gm/ Liter of drinking water for 5 days.
Treatment :
1 gm/ Liter of drinking water for 5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Stop treatment 3 days before slaughter and 2 days in laying
hens.
