DESCRIPTION JOQUIN
is the brand name of Flumequine, a quinolone derivative,
with bacterial action against gram negative bacteria and
some gram positive bacteria.
Flumequine
is characterized by its quick distribution in animal tissues
and reaches a high concentration level in blood within 1/2
hour of its administration INDICATIONS JOQUIN is indicated for the prevention and treatment
of GIT and respiratory diseases caused by E.coli, Salmonella
spp., Pasteurella spp. and Strp. spp. It is also indicated
in cases of Coryza and Fowl cholera of poultry.
DOSAGE
Poultry:
Prevention :
50 ml /200 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Treatment :
100 ml/ 200 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Large animals :
Treatment: 12 mg /1 kg B.W, for 3 days.
WARNING
Do not use with Trimethoprim and Copper Sulphate compounds.
