Description NEOMYCIN is a broad
spectrum antibiotic with bactericidal action against most'
gram-ve and some gram+ve bacteria. The efficacy of NEOMYCIN
is concentrated in the G.I.T due to its low absorption.
INDICATIONS NEOMYCIN- 50 is
indicated in gastrointestinal infections caused by gram-ve
bacteria, such as E.coli, Salmonella, Klebseilla and Proteus
which causes entrotoxaemia in lambs and poultry.
DOSAGE
Poultry:
50 gm/200 liters of
drinking water for 3-5 days.
Other
Animals:
0.5 gm/10 kg b.w. for
4-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not use animal products for
5 days after last treatment.
